I have decided that a blog may be one of the best ways for me to keep contact with each of you while I am abroad next fall. I will also have access to a free email account (no attachments though) while I am abroad, but I do not have the email address yet. For now, you can email me at amdryer@stthomas.edu if you have any questions.
I am hoping that the blog will allow me to update information as frequently as possible, and you will have the ability to 'pick and choose' the information you would like to share with your classes. There will be an option to comment on the posts, but it would be better for me if you can email a response or questions to my email address because it will be free to check my email, but I will have to pay per minute in order to check the blog. Once again, I would love for you and your classes to participate as much as you would like, and please email me to let me know any questions your students have, or anything like that. Depending on how easy shipping or internet usage is for me, if you are interested in corresponding more than by email, please let me know. I would be glad to hear from you by postal mail, and I would be happy to return letters (and anything cool I come across) for your classroom.
At this point, I am not sure how much access I will have for sending photos in email. I will try to do my best, but until I arrive, I am not sure how the internet access will work.
While I remember now, if you are interested in me stopping by your classroom upon return please let me know so that in the end of December, or maybe January, I could stop in to your classrooms.
